Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts

April 12, 2010

Back in March, a friend of mine sent me a link to this.  I’ve known for a while that the Girl Scouts has been a bit dubious. One of my daughters was a Brownie years ago, but she wasn’t that interested, so we quit. Later, I started reading and hearing things about the Girl Scouts that I found disappointing, to say the least.  Planned Parenthood is forever trying to convince people that they’re just this little old innocent organization trying to help women with health care.  They lie. Planned Parenthood has a vested  interest in promoting promiscuous behavior in young people, and they’ll stoop to anything to further that agenda, including affiliating themselves with organizations full of young girls. This helps them bring in long-term clients, which brings them money. It has been shown again and again that those in Planned Parenthood place themselves above the law, and they get away with it. I hope through constant exposure that eventually their lies and unethical and immoral (not to mention illegal) behavior will get them shut down. I saw a post over at American Catholic regarding the PP stance on HIV disclosure that made my stomach turn.  I was under the impression that purposely spreading HIV could get you thrown in jail. Apparently, the folks over at PP believe that sleeping around while infected with HIV is just another lifestyle choice and that it would violate the rights of an infected person to have to disclose to their sexual partner that they have the disease. Ummm…what about the rights of the person you may be giving the disease to? Granted, if you sleep around, that’s one of the risks you take. However, no decent person would knowingly spread such a dangerous disease while their partner remained ignorant. It is not as if these laws are designed to make you shout from the rooftops that you have a disease. The laws are to compel people to reveal the disease to their sexual partners, and in a country where the stastics are grim (more than one in three adults infected), perhaps teaching disclosure and abstinence is the only way to save people – oh yea, I forgot, Planned Parenthood isn’t in the business of saving people, they’re in the business of killing people.
